Linden, Linden family. Deciduous bush. It is mainly distributed in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Shandong, Hebei, Shanxi, among them Changbai mountain and small Xingan mountain have the most. It is cold- resistant and it likes fertile. It is often appeared on hillsides. The purple linden and bran linden are the major nectarous plants. The florescence is from the first 10-day of July to the last 10-day of July. The quantity of honey is very large, the suited temperature of secreting honey is 22-25 degrees. In the weather of continuous high temperature and big humidity, the quantity of honey is maximum. General colony output is 20-30kg; if it’s in the good year, the quantity can reach over 50kg.
